Setting the course for 2024
The traditional – and Garda Regatta Training is first up on the agenda in March. The perfect occasion to get back into trimming and maneuvering under supervision of sailing pro Christian ‘Blumi’ Scherrer and Stephan Eder.
The training in Riva del Garda is open for fully or partly crewed entries, with or without an own boat. blu26 habitués and newcomers are welcome!
As the training in Garda ends with a short regatta, the first blu26 Cup appears at the horizon. Travelling back north, we will make a halt in Lugano. After the blu26 class’ first visit in 2019, Circolo Velico Lago di Lugano is looking forward to welcoming the blu26 family again in April. To close the first half of the year, we invite you to join us in Middelfart, Denmark for Pentecoast for the blu26 European Open hosted by GoSail. Let’s travel North for an unforgettable sailing experience with a taste of “hygge” and join the blu26 Acedemy Event in St. Moritz in June.
After the summer break it’s time to meet again in the wind-rich territory in Engadin in August in St. Moritz. The boats are on site! Travel light and join the blu26 Cup with your team.
For many, the season’s highlight may be Tegernsee. The charming Alpine Lake with great thermals and the heartfelt Bavarian hospitality remain unrivaled again in September. Next and last stop is the bluboats Cup Final in Zurich end of September! The Yacht Club Zurich will ensure a perfect organization and memorable experience!
Although we may all be facing restrictions to meet all our loved ones this year, we hope you still find ways to enjoy the year-end festivities with your families. In anticipation of a new season of sailing, we thank to all those that were part of the 2023 blu26 events.
