Perfect weather. Perfect scenery. In spite of moderately forecast for the weekend, St. Moritz showed its best side. The first teams took the way up in the mountain on Friday for the legendary opening dinner at Hotel Hauser.

At the skippers meeting on Saturday morning, Race Officer Marc Knöpfel explained the regatta mode and allocated the boats to the teams for the first races. Instead of the Maloja wind, it was a northern wind which blew in the morning and enabled 4 races for the first group. The second Group had bad luck when the wind decreased to a minimum. Despite a long wait and rather weak conditions all the sailors were in great mood, which didn't abate even at dinner in the new St. Moritz indoor pool Ova Verva.

On Sunday the well known and stable Maloja wind kicked in early in the morning and brought best conditions to all the sailors. All the races were tight and the winner wasn't clear till they reached the finish line. Also in the final race, the last upwind was decisive. Two teams were on top after the last race with the same amount of points, so the rankings of the final race took Team VoodooChild as overall event winner. In second place Team Blunote, in third the local team with helmsman Wim Rossel and in fourth place the mixed team from Nathalie Keller..

It was again a big success for everyone. All the Teams had a really good time and enjoyed racing in the group mode and therefore watching the others between their own races. Big thank you to the Sailing Club St. Moritz, the Hauser Family, Stephan Hawranke and Felix Somm.
