The Voodoo Child Sailing Team won last weekend not only the blu26 class championship at the Zürich Yacht Club but with this also bluboats cup 2014, the annual blu26 class championship

The last event of the season 2014 was also the class championship, held at Zurich Yacht Club. On Friday evening the class members and participant came together for the skippers meeting and the annual general assembly.

The early birds from Switzerland came on Friday afternoon for an extra practice and for sure for the bavarian evening at the 'Braustüberl' with beer and sausage. They were already welcomed by Stefan Eder waiting for them with beer.

Perfect weather. Perfect scenery. In spite of moderately forecast for the weekend, St. Moritz showed its best side. The first teams took the way up in the mountain on Friday for the legendary opening dinner at Hotel Hauser.

On Friday night it was pouring when the last boats were craned in and even the forecast for the whole weekend wasn't that good. But on Saturday afternoon, the sky cleared up and the breeze kicked in.

The start of the new season took place in Kreuzlingen, Lake Constance. Weatherforecast announced beautiful springdays with less wind. After all boats placed into the cold water, the BluboatsCup 2014 started with the first race on saturday at lunch time with a little breeze.
