blu26 - International Class Association

The Lake Garda Regatta training is followed by the blu26 Race Montenegro which the class is organising in cooperation with the Porto Montenegro Yacht Club and the local Montenegrin blu26 fleet.

For the season finale one met in Zurich Yacht Club for the ‘Herbstpreis II’. After 4 races, Wyuna SUI 06 and skipper Philippe Guyer took the championship.

The season finale is just around the corner. This weekend the last event of the Blu26 class will take place in Zurich Yacht Club. 10 boats will cross their swords in front of the city scenery.

This year the early birds from Switzerland already arrived on Thursday noon for an extra practice session and of course the traditional ‘Oktoberfest’. After the official practice session on Friday afternoon, one met in the evening at the 'Braustüberl' with beer and sausage.

Eighteen teams from Switzerland and Germany traveled to St.Moritz on the weekend of the 5th-6th of September 2015 for the Fleet Race Battle Engadin within the Blu26 St. Moritz's Cup. And went back home with beautiful prices and memories.

Most of the teams used Saturday morning for some practice, to find some hidden spots and shifts on the lake and for the first tacks and jibes.

From 5.-6. September the St. Moritz Cup will take place on lake St. Moritz.

The start of the new season could not almost be better. The Yacht Club Zug welcomed us with an amazing event on their idyllic lake. The sailors came with big bags. They had to handle not just wind and rain but also hot sun and no breeze.

Just one week to go for the beginning of the Blu26 regatta season. The first event of the year will take place at Lake Zug. For all the earlybirds, there will be a training on friday evening organized by Markus Bohren from Zugsailing, to refresh the boatshandling after the cold break.

On Wednesday afternoon the cold weather of Switzerland followed us till Italy. The launching of the boats in the wind and light rain was not very cozy, but no problems for the sailors.
