The blu26 Cup Zurich win remains in proven hands
To close out the excellent sailing season, 11 crews signed up for the blu26 Cup Zurich. The lineup included the Danish team from Middelfart, who drove all the way to Zurich to meet us at the starting line. And it wasn't in vain!
Perfect conditions for the blu26 Cup Bavaria 2019
Privileged conditions for the sailors of the blu26 Cup Bavaria at Tegernsee! Ten boats in total and over 40 sailors from all over Germany, Denmark and Switzerland lined up on the starting line to determine who would be the best of Bavaria 2019 among them.
Setting the course for a thermal high at the blu26 championship
The blu26 class enlarges its sailing area. For the first time a blu26 regatta took place on the Urnersee. The Regattaverein Brunnen welcomed the class for its 2019 blu26 championship. The sailors had the chance to experience the lake with all its many factettes.
Another action-packed blu26 Fleet Race Battle Engadin!
The reliable Maloja wind and the unique location ensured that last weekend was again one of the blu26 season’s sailing pearls. St. Moritz welcomed the 13 teams with wonderful sailing conditions during 19 action-packed races with stable winds of 3 to 4 bft.
Sailing on edge at the blu26 Cup Zug
Around this time last year, if you’d have asked a blu26 sailor about the sailing experience in Zug, it's fair to say that the answer would have probably been a lot shorter. This year’s blu26 Cup Zug however, took place under exceptionally strong wind conditions with winds up to 6 bft!
The Cup expands its sailing area and launches first-time Lugano
The Circolo Velico Lago di Lugano hast invited the blu26 Class to host a regatta. The club didn’t have to ask twice, as the class decided to straight away open the Bluboats Cup in the Ticino. All teams travelled from Lake Garda directly to Lake Lugano, to one of the most scenic regions of Switzerland. An amazing setting and stable wind conditions ensured a due prelude.
blu26 class kicks off a new era at Lake Garda
After celebrating its 10thanniversary along 2018, the blu26 class has entered a new decade with the 10thedition of its traditional Regatta Training Camp. From March 28 to 31, eight teams took advantage of this exclusive opportunity and joined Christian ‘Blumi’ Scherrer and Stephan Eder for an intense training across four sunny days.
