Class Championship 4./5. October 2014
The last event of the season 2014 was also the class championship, held at Zurich Yacht Club. On Friday evening the class members and participant came together for the skippers meeting and the annual general assembly.
Slight disillusionment on Saturday morning when it was calm and foggy. At lunch time the first sunrays glimpsed through the clouds and a little breeze came up. In beautiful late summer weather, the sailors geared up for 4 stable and fair races. All the boats were performing the best.
In the evening the class came together for dinner at Mönchhof. Big buffet was waiting for all the hungry sailors to strengthen them for the last day of racing.
Sunday started the same as Saturday. But the fog disappeared sooner and the breeze kicked in as scheduled. Again the race committee set a good course for another 2 races. The winners of the class champions was local Team VoodooChild, which saved the podium with a bullet in the last race followed by Team Hazel in second and Team Blunote in third.
