Blu26 Class Championship Thun 2015
Most of the teams used Saturday morning for some practice, to find some hidden spots and shifts on the lake and for the first tacks and jibes.
The official start of the class championship was in the afternoon. At the meantime it started raining and the breeze from the morning disappeared. The first race had to be cancelled because the wind died completely. Also the second race started on Saturday was really difficult. The race committee managed to get it in shortened after the second upwind. After all the postponement and rain, the Barbecue in the evening at Thunersee Yacht Club was really nice and everybody enjoyed the great atmosphere.
On Sunday morning we went out on the water early at 09:30. Wind was around 8 knots and really constant. Even though it was still raining, everybody was happy to go sailing. One race after the other were sailed, and after 2 races even the rain stopped and gave us some very nice sailing conditions.
After one race on Saturday and 5 on Sunday, Team Hazel SUI 25 sat on top of the leaderboard and took the Class Championship title 2015. In 2nd place Giachen Duas SUI 40 and in 3rd blunote SUI 03. Congrats to the winner and Blu26 Class Champions 2015.
